Hello, and welcome to my website!  I am Caroline Biggs, a versatile soprano performer, voice instructor and certified Music teacher with Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

My love for music began early.  My mother maintains (likes to brag? Insists?) that I started to match pitch in infancy.  In any case, I developed a love for the performing arts beginning with my first informal self-created shows at age 5.  Living in New York City, I benefited from early exposure to a wide variety of performing arts from the Metropolitan Opera to Broadway, and so began my lifelong love for all things musical.  I adore it all, from opera to jazz, from pop music to musical theater.

One of the most memorable highlights from my career has been performing the historic, Grammy Award winning recording of Mahler’s Eighth Symphony under the baton of Robert Shaw, with the Atlanta and Ohio State Symphony Orchestras and Choruses, Tampa Bay Master Chorale, Atlanta Boys Choir and eminent guest soloists.

Undoubtedly, a most extraordinary moment in my lifetime was to sing at a Pontifical Mass of Beatification, celebrated by Saint John Paul II at St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City, Rome.

I presently reside in beautiful Hallandale Beach, Florida with dozens of very happy plants and one very spoiled rescue Tabby. Take a look around to learn more about my work. I hope you’ll think of me next time you need a dynamic and engaging soprano!
